What We’re Looking For:
- Bilingual proficiency to effectively serve a multicultural student population
- Current SLPA licensure/certification required
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not mandatory
- Solid understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents
- Ability to collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and support staff
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and driven to support student success
Role Overview:
- Assist the supervising speech-language pathologist in implementing therapy plans and interventions
- Provide direct and indirect services to students as directed
- Support bilingual students by delivering culturally and linguistically relevant services
- Document student progress, maintain records, and support data collection for IEPs and assessments
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families in both English and the target language
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities
