Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Active SLPA license in California
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Proficient in two languages; able to communicate fluently in English and one additional language
- Passion for working with children from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of speech and language services as directed by an SLP
- Assist with implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Work with groups or individual students to improve articulation, language, and social communication skills
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support teams to maximize student outcomes
