School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Fremont, California

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification as required by state regulations
- Fluency in English and another language (Spanish highly preferred)
- Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Knowledge of implementing therapy protocols and tracking student progress
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments for diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Support SLPs with implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Provide direct speech and language services to students under supervision
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with data collection and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication skills
- Adapt activities and communication strategies to support bilingual students
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed
