This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours/week) runs from August 11, 2026 to May 26, 2027, with flexibility to consider part-time schedules of approximately 30 hours per week. Caseloads typically range from 80–90 students—primarily at one campus, though supporting a second site may be necessary based on needs and candidate location. Most students are in elementary through high school, providing a diverse and engaging range of ages and skills.
Apply your skills with AAC devices, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary educational team, and foster communication growth for students needing your expertise. The Director prioritizes commute convenience, aiming to assign a primary campus nearest to your home.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid, up-to-date professional license required for practice as an SLPA.
- Previous experience in a public school setting strongly preferred.
- Competency or exposure to AAC devices is highly valued.
- Successful completion of a state fingerprinting and background check is required.
- Must answer whether you have previously worked with this district, and disclose any history of termination from a school district (affidavit required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students with speech and language needs.
