On-site service is required for this full-time contract, beginning August 11, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027, with flexible options considered for those seeking approximately 30 hours per week. Candidates are thoughtfully placed at primarily one campus, with occasional needs to support a nearby site—selected with your location and preferences in mind.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current, active professional licensure as an SLPA
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable managing elementary, middle, and high school caseloads averaging 80–90 students (potentially up to 100 depending on skills/enrollment)
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices; hands-on AAC experience a plus
- Commitment to completing state-required fingerprinting/background check
- Preference will be given to those who have not previously worked at Lamar, or who have never been terminated from a school district (affidavit required)
