Your workday will total 37.5 hours each week, with responsibilities that include assisting speech-language pathologists in providing crucial interventions. You'll work hands-on—with teachers, staff, and families—to help students achieve their communication goals and thrive in their educational journeys.
Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of speech-language services under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement treatment plans with individual students and in groups
- Prepare educational materials and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams
- Adapt interventions to meet the needs of a dynamic PreK-8th grade caseload (assignment details to be determined)
Qualifications:
- Current Arizona SLPA license required
- Possession of an active IVP Fingerprint Card is mandatory
- Previous school-based experience as an SLPA is preferred
- Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents in an educational setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
