As an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll work closely with students and staff to help develop and implement effective speech and language strategies. Qualifications:
- Active Arizona SLPA license is required
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card must be presented
- Previous experience in a school-based role preferred
- Ability to work onsite for all scheduled hours
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to a diverse student population within PreK–8th grade
- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in planning and carrying out individualized education programs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and school team discussions as requested
- Adapt quickly and contribute positively to a dynamic caseload
