Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of an SLPA program required
- Current SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure in Arizona
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both students and staff
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work under the supervision of an SLP
- Basic understanding of therapy documentation and student progress tracking
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to practice targeted communication skills
- Support the delivery of instructional materials and activities tailored to individual student needs
- Observe and record student performance, providing feedback to supervising SLPs
- Maintain accurate and timely therapy logs and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with teachers and families as needed
- Uphold ethical and professional standards at all times
