Key Qualifications:
- Current, active SLPA license issued by the state of Texas
- Prior schools-based SLPA experience required
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Adaptability and organizational skills to efficiently support therapy across varying ages and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language interventions to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and response to interventions
- Participate in team meetings, IEP discussions, and ongoing support plans
- Engage in staff collaboration to help create a supportive learning environment for students with communication challenges
