The position runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Compensation for this role is between $35 and $41 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Texas is mandatory
- Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Confidence managing a K-12 caseload of 40-50 students
- Ability to collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
What you’ll do:
- Implement individualized therapy plans under SLP supervision for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Track student progress, document sessions, and provide regular updates to staff and families
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and other activities as required
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and participation
