Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Savannah, MO

As an SLPA working approximately 35 hours per week, you'll experience a thoughtfully organized environment with pre-scheduled remote workdays—about two each month—offering valuable flexibility within your routine.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Experience working in a school-based or educational setting, preferably with high school-aged students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for teaming with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and staff
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Skills in providing direct and indirect speech-language services under SLP supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech/language interventions to high school students as outlined in IEPs
- Support SLPs with assessment and progress tracking
- Collaborate with educators and families to implement effective communication strategies
- Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and visual supports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support discussions
