Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Santa Clara, CA
Make a positive impact supporting students' communication development by contributing your skills as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic educational environment. You’ll collaborate with a team dedicated to empowering students, working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and educators to deliver essential speech and language support services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to establish rapport with students of various ages and backgrounds
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support monitoring and documentation of student progress
- Assist in administering informal assessments and collecting data
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment encouraging student participation
