Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality direct services to students with communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine individual strengths and areas of support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain current and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Adapt interventions to a diverse student population, adjusting to different school sites as needed
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to ensure student success
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in California (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred)
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California schools
- Bilingualism in Spanish is strongly preferred
- Flexibility to provide services across various school sites; school assignments and caseloads will be determined closer to the start date
- Comfortable with onsite work; remote assignments are not available for this position
This assignment offers full-time hours during the school year, with all work performed in person. The district is open to considering both local and travel therapists and anticipates the need for multiple professionals.
