The assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027 (exact dates to be determined) and calls for dedicated SLPs ready to work onsite in a full-time capacity. The district prefers candidates with California SLP experience and Spanish-English bilingual skills, offering a chance for personal and professional growth with a population that values communication in both languages.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CA SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working as a school SLP in California preferred
- Spanish-English bilingual skills preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP planning
- Maintain precise documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams
