Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Rancho Cucamonga, California
Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with opportunities to provide services both on-site and via teletherapy. Here, you’ll serve a PreK caseload at a single elementary school, focusing on early intervention, communication, and language development. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) for California or eligibility
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy strongly preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with relevant internship background
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide clear, individualized treatment for PreK students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Manage a PreK student caseload at a single school site
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy in both in-person and teletherapy formats
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to maximize student success
