Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in San Marcos, CA

Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid California SLPA license required
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English preferred for most positions
- Background in school or pediatric settings a strong plus
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting student communication and success throughout the academic year
Key responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans designed by supervising SLPs
- Conduct speech and language interventions with students individually and in groups
- Collect data and document student progress regularly
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and classroom activities as needed
- Support communication between school staff, students, and families
- Engage in professional development as part of a full-year assignment
