Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in San Francisco, CA
Providing speech-language support within multiple K-12 school sites in San Francisco, CA, this contract role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to students’ communication development. The position requires a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with active certification or licensure in California to serve a diverse student caseload ranging from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver speech and language therapy interventions under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to tailor services supporting students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation for multiple school sites
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
Qualifications and experience:
- Active SLPA certification or license in California is mandatory
- Previous experience supporting TK-12 students within a school environment preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple locations effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
