This full-time, travel assignment runs from ASAP through the remainder of the current school year. Supporting a K-12 caseload will enable you to collaborate with experienced educators and learn new strategies for student engagement, including working with AAC systems. These experiences foster professional growth and expose you to diverse practices and leadership styles, all while making a tangible difference in students’ lives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure in California
- Previous school-based SLPA experience (K-12 preferred)
- Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools
- Reliable, flexible, and collaborative attitude
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to K-12 students under supervision of an SLP
- Support implementation of AAC and other specialized communication strategies
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
