Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Port Orchard, WA

Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLPA license required
- Experience providing SLPA services in school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of child and adolescent development, with a collaborative and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized therapy plans and activities for students across all grade levels
- Collect data to monitor student progress; document performance and adjust interventions as needed
- Support classroom teachers and SLPs in integrating strategies into daily routines
- Communicate regularly with team members and families to support student success
- Travel to school sites as needed within the district
This full-time position ensures a consistent schedule not exceeding 37.5 hours per week, allowing for meaningful interactions with students throughout the school year—starting as soon as possible through June 16, 2027.
