Step into a dynamic support role assisting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract assignment involves close collaboration with a Tele SLP professional, ensuring quality speech-language therapy services for a diverse caseload of 41 students (subject to change) across three school buildings. You’ll contribute directly to student progress, working with both individual and group sessions for a balanced mix of treatment experiences.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) certification recognized by the state
- Previous experience in educational settings is a strong plus
- Ability to effectively manage varied caseloads and participate in virtual/teletherapy collaboration
- Strong organizational and communication skills for multi-building service delivery
- Flexibility adapting to changes in student assignments and schedules
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language interventions as part of a shared caseload with a supervising Tele SLP
- Conduct 55 weekly thirty-minute therapy sessions divided between 16 individual and 37 group treatments
- Work seamlessly across elementary, middle, and high school settings to support students with diverse needs
- Maintain proper documentation and communicate regularly regarding student progress
- Adjust to caseload modifications and team needs as required by the district
- Ensure all state and district protocols are met consistently
