School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Peyton, Colorado

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license or eligibility in the state
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Compassion and patience working with children and adolescents
- Collaborative attitude for partnering with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans under SLP supervision
- Conduct speech and language exercises in one-on-one and group settings
- Monitor student progress and collect relevant data accurately
- Prepare and adapt materials for therapy sessions
- Engage in consultation and team meetings with SLPs, teachers, and administrators
- Help create supportive, inclusive environments where all learners feel comfortable
