Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field
- Active SLPA license/credential (or eligibility to obtain) in Colorado
- Previous experience supporting speech and language services in a school setting preferred
- Solid understanding of child development, speech/language disorders, and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, educators, and parents/guardians
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SLPs in implementing individualized education and treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Assist with screenings, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure integrated student support
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate service records
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere to motivate students
