Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Oakland, CA

You’ll play an essential role working on-site 3-5 days per week, supporting students and helping complete IEPs for a manageable caseload of 55. You’ll be fully supported, including access to supervision—costs covered—so you can focus on making a difference in students’ progress and achievements.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but candidates with strong clinical skills and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work independently with remote or in-person supervision provided as needed
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to a diverse student caseload
- Collaborate with supervising SLP and school staff to finish IEPs and document progress
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district requirements
- Participate in planning and supportive duties as needed during the school day
Position Highlights:
- Flexible 3-5 days per week schedule; 7.5 paid hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch (8:30am-4:30pm)
- Contract runs through June 5, with option for minimal summer ESY hours
- Oversight and supervision costs are covered
