Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license in California
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in a school-based setting
- Ability to work under supervision (supervision can be coordinated and costs covered)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services as directed by supervising SLP
- Complete remaining IEPs and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support students' IEP goals
- Maintain comprehensive records of sessions and student progress
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to student planning as needed
Position Details:
- Contract position, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year (June 5)
- Onsite schedule: 3-5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (7.5 hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Some limited opportunities may be available for Extended School Year (ESY)
