Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time | Schertz, TX | 2026–2027 School Year
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, full school year position in Schertz, TX for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to support students in a collaborative school-based environment while working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Position Details:
- Full-time, full school year (2026–2027)
- School-based setting
- Support students with speech and language needs across various caseloads
- Work under the direction of a supervising SLP
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities
- Collect and document student progress data
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy support to students in individual and/or group settings
- Assist in implementing IEP goals and speech-language treatment plans
- Utilize reinforcement strategies, modeling, and visual supports
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and sessions
- Collaborate with educators, SLPs, and special education teams
- Support communication development across diverse student populations
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license required
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work within a team setting
