School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Moore Haven, Florida

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or closely related field, or an AAS degree from an SLPA program
- Active SLPA certification or state-issued license
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and families—even in challenging or time-sensitive situations
- Willingness and ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality and uphold students' educational plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language pathology services, in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Provide support in group and one-on-one settings to help students advance their speech and language skills
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and report on student outcomes
- Engage in regular communication and collaboration with SLPs, educators, and parents to foster student success
- Adapt to a dynamic school environment; travel between school buildings may be required
