Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or completion of an AAS degree from an SLPA program
- Active SLPA license or certification
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families—even in high-pressure situations
- Adaptability to work at multiple school sites; ability to travel between buildings if needed
- A commitment to professional growth and a passion for fostering student development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech/language services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Collaborate and consult under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Ensure services are only provided onsite, in person (virtual work is not available)
