Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Newburgh, IN

Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
- Valid SLPA licensure for the state or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in a school, pediatric, or educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
- Adaptable, organized, and committed to supporting student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for students
- Conduct group and 1:1 therapy sessions under supervision
- Track student progress, record data, and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with screening and informal assessment activities as directed
- Support the preparation and organization of therapy materials
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students at every ability level
- Participate actively in team meetings and classroom collaboration
