Key Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized education and therapy plans
- Provide targeted support to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collect data and monitor student progress in collaboration with supervising SLP
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights as needed
- Communicate professionally with teachers, staff, and parents
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
