Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to take direction and work effectively under the supervision of credentialed SLPs
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to supporting students’ speech-language development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect support services to students as delegated by supervising SLPs
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of therapy materials and activities
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Work collaboratively with SLPs, teachers, and school staff to support student goals
- Participate in meetings and professional development, as required by the school district
