Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Buena Park, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California SLPA license or credential
- Experience in school-based SLPA positions is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to take direction and collaborate with supervising SLPs
- Compassion, adaptability, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve communication milestones
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups
- Support the assessment and screening process as directed by supervising SLPs
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and learning activities
- Collect, document, and report student progress
- Participate in team meetings to discuss students’ needs, progress, and goals
