Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure in Texas and credentialing appropriate for school settings
- Prior experience as an SLPA in K-12 schools strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency required (Spanish/English)
- Ability to travel to multiple school sites (itinerant role)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students with speech and language needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students as directed by supervising SLPs
- Assist with screenings, documentation, and reporting of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to support students’ educational goals
- Travel between assigned campuses within the district as needed
- Prepare engaging, age-appropriate materials and activities for therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate service logs and follow all district procedures and ethical guidelines
