Desired qualifications:
- Hold valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working within a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Must be bilingual, with the ability to effectively communicate and provide therapy in both English and another language
- Comfortable working with a K-12 caseload and adapting services for students of varying ages
- Strong organization and time-management skills, especially in an itinerant role
- Collaborative mindset; able to work with multiple staff members and travel between sites as needed
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing therapy plans and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Conducting small group and individual sessions with students across various grade levels
- Supporting IEP documentation by tracking student progress and participating in meetings as required
- Communicating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for each student
