Step into a new opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 101 students in a collaborative, resource-rich environment. This contract assignment begins on August 27, 2026, and extends through May 27, 2027. You’ll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours each week, giving you stability and the ability to plan with confidence.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license
- Experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload in a school setting
- Commitment to supporting students’ individual needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and document sessions accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities as needed
