We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and provide speech and language services to students in a school setting in Kennesaw, GA.
This is a great opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a collaborative educational team supporting students' communication and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Work with students individually and in small groups
- Implement treatment plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
- Collect data and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Support students in developing communication, language, articulation, and social skills
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, as applicable
- Current Georgia SLPA certification/eligibility
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential
