Key Qualifications & Experience
- Hold valid credentials as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience in a school setting as an SLPA is required (minimum one year)
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and take direction from supervising SLP
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality therapy
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver speech therapy services to students under direct supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) through targeted interventions
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school activities as needed
