Starting in August and extending through May, this position allows you to work on-site in multiple settings, adapting your skills to diverse student needs. Skills and qualifications desired:
- Active Florida DOH SLPA license is required
- Prior experience in school-based settings or pediatrics is highly valued
- Confidence managing moderate student caseloads and collaborating with various staff members
- Adaptability to work at different school sites within the district
- Completion of fingerprinting and background checks, with familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse process being a plus
Key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing speech-language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Documenting student progress and assisting in the creation of intervention materials and strategies
- Coordinating with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student goals
- Traveling as needed between assigned school locations
