Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Thermal, CA

This role is ideal for SLPAs passionate about making a difference over an extended commitment. Candidates should be open to travel but must be willing to remain for more than one full-year assignment. High potential exists for the position to be itinerant, working on various campuses within the area.
Your qualifications:
- Hold an active SLPA license and Certificate of Clearance (COC)
- Prior experience in school settings, preferably working with PreK/K-12
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
- Familiarity with SEIS and Paradigm platforms is a plus
- Experience supporting students with mild to moderate needs, as well as some with severe needs and AAC devices
- Comfort working both independently and under the virtual supervision of remote SLPs
- Flexible and adaptable—open to an itinerant assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, families, and supervising tele-SLPs to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and utilize educational software for reporting
- Help facilitate communication and learning for students using AAC devices as needed
