School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Thermal, California

Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active SLPA licensure and Certificate of Clearance
- Commitment to complete at least one full-year assignment
- School-based SLPA experience preferred
- Familiarity with SEIS and Paradigm platforms is an advantage
- Ability to support students with mild to moderate, and some severe communication needs
- Experience with, or a willingness to learn about, AAC devices
- Bilingual Spanish communication is highly desirable
- Flexible and open to working in an itinerant capacity across sites
Key responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language services as directed by supervising tele-SLPs
- Support individual and group therapy activities for students
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with educational teams
- Adapt to varying caseloads and school environments
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for students and colleagues
