Preferred Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in the state; please include your license and certification number in your application
- School-based SLPA experience is highly valued
- Background in speech and language intervention in K-5 populations
- Strong communication abilities for parent, staff, and student collaboration
- Organizational skills for managing documentation and session planning
- Adaptability and a positive, proactive approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy sessions based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with supervising SLP, teachers, and special education staff
- Document progress, maintain session notes, and assist with IEP data collection
- Support the generalization of communication strategies in classroom and small group settings
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment for students
