This full-time role spans from August 31 to June 4, with 37.5 hours per week, providing vital speech and language services that make a real difference in young learners’ progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLPA license in the state, with certification number provided at time of application
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Solid knowledge of speech-language strategies and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with children, educators, and families
- Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload effectively
- Passion for fostering student growth and participation within the school community
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out individualized and group speech/language interventions under SLP supervision
- Assist in preparing and implementing therapy materials and activities
- Record and report student progress, documenting sessions as required
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ goals in the classroom
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and student evaluations as needed
