Elementary School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
A supportive elementary school in the Holyoke, MA area is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based position. This role is a great fit for an SLPA with previous school experience who is ready to support students’ speech and language development in a collaborative educational setting.
The school team is looking for a qualified candidate who can step in confidently and provide consistent support throughout the school week.
Responsibilities:
· Provide speech and language therapy support under the supervision of a licensed SLP
· Assist with implementing treatment plans for elementary school students
· Support students with communication, articulation, language, and social communication needs
· Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff
· Maintain documentation and track student progress as directed
Experience:
· Previous school-based experience required
· Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Education & Licensure:
· Active Massachusetts SLPA certification or appropriate state credentials required
- Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders required
