Gainesville City Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 academic year. If you are committed to helping students find their voice and excel in a supportive educational environment, we want to hear from you!
Position Details
Term: July 27, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Daily Hours: 7 hours per day
Compensation: $800 – $1,000 per week (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to students across multiple campus locations.
Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Licensure: Candidates must hold a valid Georgia SLPA license.
Note: Candidates must have a degree in Speech or Communication Disorders to meet Georgia's specific SLPA licensing requirements.
