Bring your background in speech or communication disorders and help foster language and speech development in a collaborative, student-centered setting. You'll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 35 hours per week (7 hours each day), allowing for balance and predictability.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Speech or Communication Disorders is required
- No SLPA license required in Georgia for this position
- Previous experience working with school-aged children as an SLPA or in a similar capacity is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
- Adaptability and organizational strengths to manage multiple school locations
Responsibilities:
- Support licensed SLPs in delivering individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students
- Assist with implementing therapy plans, documenting student progress, and preparing educational materials
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute observational insights when needed
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Rotate among assigned school locations as scheduled
