School-Based Speech Pathology Assistant | Buford, Georgia

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders is required
- Experience or interest in working within school environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple school settings in one district
- Flexibility and commitment to supporting K-12 student populations
- NOTE: This role is not for SLPAs; qualified SLPAs will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment and intervention services for students with speech and language needs
- Implement evidence-based therapy tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers and other school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings or collaborations
- Travel between multiple school sites within the district as needed
- Engage families and caregivers to foster ongoing support for student progress
