Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Gadsden, AZ
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant PreK-8th grade setting. This onsite, full-time position offers 40 hours per week at a single school site, providing consistent support and continuity for students and educators. You will collaborate with educational teams and contribute to student success in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current Arizona SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) License
- IVP (Identity Verified Prints) Fingerprint Card in hand
- Relevant experience working in a school environment with a PreK-8th grade population
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to best practices, ethical standards, and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP
- Support implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and follow all confidentiality policies
- Collaborate actively with SLPs, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with assessments as needed
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
