School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Gadsden, Arizona

In this onsite contract role near Gadsden, AZ, you’ll collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, providing both direct and indirect therapy services to students. Guided by experienced SLPs, you’ll help foster growth for children with diverse speech and language challenges—all while growing your own skills.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field; or an Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Active SLPA license or certification
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work with staff and families in demanding situations
- Flexibility to serve students at multiple school sites (travel between buildings may be required)
- Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards
- Dedication to working onsite (virtual/remote is not an option)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Support supervising SLPs with daily caseload management and therapy planning
- Assist in assessment and documentation processes
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of services provided
- Adapt to changing needs and priorities within a school environment
