Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA in Arizona
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow direction from credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists
- Passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of student-specific speech and language therapy plans
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist with direct and indirect therapy services
- Conduct group or individual therapy sessions as assigned
- Prepare instructional materials and track student progress
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing training
- Maintain accurate documentation as required by the school and state guidelines
