School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Fresno, CA

Make a real difference in students’ lives by supporting speech-language services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is perfect for an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with a passion for helping young learners improve their communication skills.
You’ll join a forward-thinking educational team serving students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. Working full-time on a fiscal school year schedule, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise matters. Supervision and mentorship will be provided by an experienced, supportive SLP utilizing established teletherapy (Voco) methods—candidates will have the opportunity to connect with the supervising SLP prior to starting, ensuring compatibility and a strong working relationship.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California SLPA license required.
- Minimum of 3 months clinical experience as a school-based SLPA.
- Experience supporting elementary school caseload (TK-5) highly valued.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, though not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary students under SLP supervision.
- Support IEP implementation and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Engage with students, parents, and staff to foster positive communication and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with the SLP and other team members to adapt services to students’ needs.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for assigned caseload.
