School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Fresno, California

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a vibrant elementary school environment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic and supportive supervising SLP, focused on helping students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California SLPA license is required
- Minimum of 3 months of previous SLPA experience, preferably in a school setting
- Comfortable working with elementary-aged children (TK-5)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are strongly preferred, though not required
- Excellent collaboration skills and willing to participate in a preliminary call to ensure compatibility with the supervising SLP
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of the lead SLP
- Assist in developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report regularly to the supervising SLP
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student outcomes
- Manage a diverse caseload with flexibility and sensitivity
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
