This opportunity is based near Fresno, CA, where you’ll provide essential support to young learners while collaborating closely with an experienced supervising SLP through telepractice.
Qualifications:
- Active California SLPA license (required)
- Minimum of 3 months of hands-on SLPA experience
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desirable but not mandatory
- Comfortable working with an elementary (TK-5) caseload in a school setting
- Ready to communicate and coordinate effectively with both on-site staff and a remote supervisory SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under the guidance of a licensed SLP via tele-supervision
- Document student progress and therapy sessions in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers and other school staff
- Adapt activities and materials to meet the needs of bilingual and monolingual students
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive learning environment for all children
